Win7 does not accept Samba Password

If your Windows Machine (Windows 7 in my case) refuses Username/passwords to access samba shares,

try setting

  HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Control\Lsa\LmCompatibilityLevel

  to 3
